Kathy discovered a love of painting in the 5th grade when she was fortunate to have a teacher who was also an artist.
Kathy became serious about painting 7 years ago when she retired and started living between Cape Charles, Virginia and The Villages, Florida. She has been influenced by a number of artists from the Eastern Shore and Hampton Roads Virginia.
In Florida Kathy took weekly art classes including a number of classes under Arrachme, an internationally recognized artist with paintings in museums worldwide.
Kathy enjoys painting places she lives and places she travels.
